The atmosphere was great. The options were great. The wait staff was very polite, kind and helpful. I sent my burger back after receiving it medium rare when I had asked for well done. I ate half of the second burger and took the other half home. The beer and cheese soup was amazing. Queue this morning when I decide to eat my leftovers and I get a bite of cheese separation paper. They were busy. Maybe in a big hurry; And I get that. I really would like to come back on possibly a less busy day because twice I bit into my food and found something I couldn't really eat in it. Despite this the food honestly tastes amazing. I'm hoping my second trip won't provide me with food surprises.

Great service, lovely atmosphere, yummy food. Even the host was part of the customer service after we were seated for dinner. I had the pesto pasta with artichokes which was amazing. Hubby had the ribeye and veggies which he said were great. Amazing drink menu, too.

The look of the place is great and the selection of beer & wine in the bottle shop are was fantastic! The hostess and waitress were both super nice. Everything was very clean and sanitized. However, we tried a couple of different cocktails and they were all very sour. We also ordered the shrimp crostini appetizer and the clams. They were both way too garlicky (and I LOVE garlic) and so, so overly creamy. It felt like I was eating at Red Lobster and not a locally owned restaurant.

Great whiskey bar. The selection is crazy extensive. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. Staff was super friendly. The food was really good as well.

I've been here a few times before the food and drinks are really good, but you should not have to wait 20 minutes for a drink. There was only one bartender and one server need to have more people scheduled to work. Again the food and drinks were really good and the server was very nice.

Bomb!!! The food was delicious the environment is excellent, very high end great feel of luxary only problem I had was to many drink options. Absolutely amazing time here. Staff was silly in asking me what my budget was and if I needed the tab split I dont think that was professional but still an awesome experience.

Helpful, attentive and concerned staff combined with great food made for a relaxing evening reading at the bar. I got the asparagus in tempura and the risotto with no shrip. This was my second time in and it has solidified itself as one of my new mainstays as the relaxed atmosphere and delicious food will keep me coming back.

This place is AMAZING. Me and my husband were just looking for a nice little sit down restaurant that serves burgers but WE DID NOT EXPECT THIS. The food, the drinks, the service, the FOOD?! Ouh. Absolutely delicious. Calamari? Give that man a medal. Love this place!

Westgate is by far one of the best restaurants in the Portland metro area, they have amazing food (check out their clam chowder when it’s in) and they have an amazing bourbon selection along with any other liquor you could ever desire to drink from beer to wine to tequila to rum. I am sad that we are moving to Georgia soon, I’d also like to say that their staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they’ve never been anything other than fantastic.To the person who recently complained in their review about Westgate’s service, Washington county is not in phase two, we are in phase one, the reason the waiter kept reminding you about the time is because there is a strict customers must be out by 1000, if you have such an issue with a business following rules so that they don’t get fined or lose their business/liquor license, then don’t dine out during COVID restrictions.

I absolutely love the food here! My go to is the Ribeye 🥩!!! Always cooked to perfection. I’ve had a few of their drinks and even though they were all great, I just can’t seem to stray away from my favorite The Comb The Desert. The atmosphere is nice. I’ve never had an issue with service there. We usually go on busy nights and the food never takes to long considering that it’s cooked to perfection 😁 the staff are all very knowledgeable about the products they are offering to you. Kudos to them all!

They refused to seat my self and infant due to us not having masks. I have a condition that does not allow me to wear a mask yet there were people 10ft away not wearing masks. I would have gladly waited outside while our table was being set but no offer for that was made. That worst part is that we drove an hour and a half to come to this place.

If a menu of drinks 2 inches thick isn’t a good enough reason to visit this amazing establishment, perhaps the fact the food is impeccable will. Westgate is a perfect fusion of fine dining, bar/pub, and hangout without the pretentiousness of a high end restaurant. The menu and food are top notch and reasonably priced, the drinks are simply amazing. Kid friendly, but adult themed menu so if you are one of those easily offended you will need to read it for them. But honestly, if you are one of those easily offended the better option is to stay home and not ruin the night of the rest of us having a great time. My new go to place to chill, eat, drink and meet friends.

Lots of drinks to choose from and shuffleboard and pool. Also a big bottle room to go. Fun and lively crowd. The place doesn’t look like a bar from the outside so don’t let that fool you.

Good food & drinks, with a really large menu to choose from. Went on a busy night but staff was great. Please don’t ever get rid of the sweet potato gnocchi.

The food is ALWAYS prepared just wonderfully, and it's not overpriced in the slightest. For my husband, the bourbon choices are vast.

Our meals were INCREDIBLE. The best food I have had out in years. Service was awesome. Friendly, and fun. Incredible selection of whatever alcohol you prefer. One of my new favorite places. Love it.

had a great dinner here really enjoyed the food I will go back for that. I really enjoyed they had a great selection of local beers on tap and also bottles they also have a great selection of whiskeys and other liveations. In the back they have very nice pool room to go play pool so this is a great place to go have a quiet evening and hang out with some friends have a few drinks kind of place.

It was a nice little surprise to have found this place. Now I think this one of my favorite places. I got the clams and they were absolutely delicious. They have a big variety of whiskey, bourbon as well as beers and other liquor. I would definitely recommend coming here!

The beer choices are out of this world. Delicious filet, Brussels sprouts, and shrimp. They make delicious cocktails and have a wife selection of Japanese whiskey.

I wish I could specify the stars for what was great and wasn't. Drinks were outstanding. Fun atmosphere. Bar service was excellent while we waited for it table. Once seated for dinner, someone put a brake on everything. The drinks took a very long time to come out, we were excited for the apps we ordered(the artichoke and the clams) they took a while to come out and the artichoke wasn't cooked long enough so it was tough. The flavor was great but wasn't done being cooked. We decided to go somewhere else for our dinner plates based on the speed of service and disappointment in the food we'd tried to that point.

Great happy hour, great drinks! The bar menu is vast and wonderful. Great if you're in the area and looking for a bar. The food is awesome - got the fries (with delicious dipping sauce) and some sliders to go with our beer. And the bar itself is a beautiful centerpiece for this restaurant/bar. Kid-friendly, but not obnoxiously so. Plus, there is a beer/wine shop with a great selection on your way out.

I found out why this place is so popular recently when I visited with some colleagues and my wife. GREAT bourbon selection for the aficionado and very good food and service. Highly recommended.

Excellent array of whiskeys, wine, and beer. Awesome food options. Cool atmosphere. You will have to wait to get a table, but you will be glad you did. Just get a drink while you wait and be in awe of all the alcohol at your fingertips. I wish I was drinking here now.

There are many good cocktails to be had here, and an extensive whisky selection (as well as other liquors) - and hundreds of beers to choose from. Their food is quite good as well. Most recently, my girlfriend and I enjoyed a hamburger and a Ruben sandwich. The Ruben was perfect, but the burger patty was raw at the center when we asked for medium. So you may want to ask for medium-well.

One of the best steaks I've ever had. Their dry aged filet is tender and has an amazing crust. The atmosphere, especially if you go later at night, is very mellow and cozy. Their liquor selection is massive and they have a dictionary sized cocktail book in which you can order pretty much any drink under the sun. The staff are great and the food is definitely top notch. I can't say enough good things about the Westgate.

Huge selection of both liquors and draft beers. With an on-site bottle shop for beers and wine. Scotch flight was first rate, environment was half open and airy and half pub-like. Pool and shuffleboard tables. Table service of alcohol was slow, perhaps due to the bartenders prioritizing at-bar patrons over tables, (idea, service bartender?). Food was fair. Avoid the artichoke at all costs. If the food improves, five stars.

Awesome hostess, she was very friendly. Wild boar appetizer was so delicious! We will come back for the boar appetizer and to try a bourbon flight- but I gave it 3 stars because my husband found foil in his sandwich and they didn't do anything about it. A more sincere sorry would've even been better than how it was handled. We will still be going back.. but better service would've been a 5 star

Great drinks and a witty conversation with the bartender. Lots, and I mean lots, of selection and a to-go market as well. Appetizers were tasty.

This is quite a good place.They have a happy hour were they take $1-$2 off wines, cocktails, and draft beers. They have a pretty good selection of $4 apps on the happy hour menu.I did order a Bourbon flight for about $20 and it was extremely good. All the food here looks good. The only two disappointments I had was 1.bathroom and 2.wait time. The bathroom smelled horrible. I don't know what would cause that smell but they need to fix it immediately. The restaurant was extremely busy so it took time for us to get our waiter's attention.Their Happy Hour is quite good as well. All food Happy Hour is $4. I got the cheese curds with the sweet tangy sauce. I also ordered the Tri-steak slider. Both are worth the price.

My wife and I like this place. We come here at least once a month, sometimes more. Happy hour is a steal. The food is great and the beer selection is always rotating and always good. The owner, Dave, has even personally emailed me when beer I wanted came in after a hiatus.

Loved the food, service was a bit slow (but it was Friday at 6)... Dinner took 2.5 hours. I had to disassemble the burger to eat it, sure was tasty!Get the Angry Russian sauce and the Cheese Curds, you will thank me!

Such a neat place to get beer! We were visiting from Indiana and decided to load up on beer while here. There is a plethora of options!!! We found it to be pretty reasonable in prices. We will definitely be back when in town again.We also ate dinner here in the restaurant side and I enjoyed it. They have 45+ beers on tap as well as wine, bourbon etc. It's worth stopping in!

The whisky selection is amazing. We love the quirky menu. The cheese curds are so yummy. But the pasta is just unbelievable!

The bourbon shrimp and the shrimp carbonara are mouth wateringly delicious. Some of my favorites from the menu for sure. However, you literally cannot go wrong with anything on this menu.

Two of us went for some cocktails and to play some pool. To start, the lady at the front said there was one person designated for the pool room. We found her at the bar and ordered, took 30 minutes to get our first drink. She never came in to the pool room to check on us. Had to find her again when we wanted another. It took another 15 minutes for a drink. This was a Saturday afternoon, wasn't busy. Asked for a couple waters too but never got those. Drinks are good, pool tables and sticks are very nice. Need to do something about the service in the pool room.

Really tries to be trendy and cool, but falls short. The food was straight up not good. It wasn't send-it-back bad food, but close. The menu is really well written and makes things sound much more interesting than they actually are. I tried 2 different craft cocktails and they weren't good either - one tasted only like lime, and the other had an unpleasant flavor combination. There is about a 4/10 chance that we will give this place another shot.

This place is great with a fun sense of humor! The whisky selection is amazing and I love how many options for peaty scotch there are 😍 there’s typically a wait for a table on the weekend so we start out at the bar with some drinks. The cocktails all have movie reference names like “His Name Was Robert Paulson”.

Woof. Person up front tried to have our group of 7 order from the bar / pool room. We requested a table and got food and drinks. Drinks took 20 minutes in what I assessed as a “fair” sized crowd. The “calamari” is whatever veggies they had, tempura fried and served with an overly peppery sauce? Our server was on roller-skates past our table and the others near us. We actually had been wanting to do a few rounds for a birthday, but someone must have not gotten a piñata when they were younger cause he was not interested in checking in on us.

Since you read the menu, you know you are in good hands... the food portions are good and the flavor is very good. Great spot for hanging out with friends or after work meals.
